ABOUT ME

The person behind the camera.

Hi, I’m Diana!

My grandmother used photos to capture her everyday life, although she passed away when I was still young, her archive instilled in me an appreciation of photography as a means of preserving memory.

My photography practice spans portraits, documentary, and concert photography. Across all these styles, I am inspired by people, places, and the connections we share. My goal with each photograph is to see people through empathetic eyes and tell sincere stories that reflect the world as I experience it.

In 2023, I hosted my first solo exhibition, Moments in Joy, which explored my relationship with joy after the pandemic—the places I found it and the importance of preserving it. I am currently working on a long-term project that examines indigenous understandings of rest as a practice in Malawi. When I’m not working on this project, you can find me collaborating on portrait shoots, doing documentary work for non-profits, or photographing concerts across Africa.
